A little bit about Hipsterpad.com:
The basic concept behind Hipsterpad is to give aspiring writers the freedoms to show their talents to the world. I pesonally believe that in order to see the full potential of a writer, you must take away all restrictions (ex. deadlines, topic restricions). This leads to writers actually having fun writing about their personal interests.
Hipsterpad.com could simply be described as a one blog, many writers community.
How do I become a writer ?
Hipsterpad is always looking for creative people to contribute to the site. There have been a few writers that have received some kick butt jobs and I'm sure Hipsterpad.com looked pretty good on their resumes.

Why the name Hipsterpad ?
That is actually a really good question. I don't really know why or how I came up with that name but it's somewhat humurous and definitly memorable.

Do you use Wordpress/ Can I have your theme ?
I personally am not a fan of Wordpress or any other blogging software. However, they do make blogging easy and even offer some cool features for most bloggers. Personally, I think that all Wordpress blogs look alike and therefore make it hard to express any sort of creative design. I also enjoy doing and learning things myself so this website doesn't run on any other platform other than PHP coding (there is no theme).
Where do you get your content from ?
All of our content comes from staff writers and guest writers. This content is not stolen or taken from any other website or blog. Let's just say we didn't want to be just another copy of a copy (as most websites don't produce their own content and basically are just link portals ex. ebaumsworld).
Are there any other projects you are working on ?
One of our side projects is . It's a great place to learn about music mashups, bootlegs, and the whole underground music scene. also has a great Dj community who happend to be some of the nicest and classiest people on the internet in my opinion. So go check it out and start previewing, rating and downloading the undergrounds best music.
