Top 5 Drinks (Cause Beer Is For College Kids)  By Paul, Hipsterpad.com    |Email| If you could add up all of the hours you have spent drinking alcohol and get a degree for it, than I would definitely have a masters. I would be willing to bet that most people would be right up there with me or even beyond with their PHD in alcoholic consumption. So what has everyone learned from college? Well, we have all learned not to do those preciously unforgettable things such as waking up the next morning in a random bus stop 100 miles away from home or the whole wingman strategy for the guys or even how to deal with the annoying best friend (of the girl your trying to pick-up) who has decided cock blocking every guy within a five mile vicinity is her life's mission. One thing has to of come out of all those crazy times, right? Maybe not, but at least I did figure out the five alcoholic drinks that I love and will separate you from the Bud lite crowd. I must say that I do enjoy beer but have grown out of the MBC (Miller, Bud, Coors) faze. So, here is my list of the top five hipster drinks from best to great.   #1 Three Wise Men: 1 part Jim Beam 1 part Johnnie Walker 1 part Jack Daniels Maybe the greatest sipping drink ever, yet so simple to make. Provides a hip sophisticated buzz and is perfect for when you can't make up your mind about which whiskey to choose.   #2 Bloody Mary: 2 part Vodka 3 1/2 part Tomato juice 1/2 spoon Worcestershire Sauce 3 to 4 drops of Tabasco Sauce pinch of salt and pepper 1 stick of celery Man o man is this a good tasting drink. Well known for being the morning after hangover cure but 4 or 5 of these can make you pretty crazy. When people see you drink Bloody Mary's they know you can handle your liquor. Also, makes passing out at the pool that much more fun (I swear it only happend once).   #3 Flaming Dr. Pepper: 1 shot of Amaretto topped with a little bit of Bacardi 151 1 beer (We'll make an exception this one time) The best way to start a night (especially in Austin). Light the shot on fire and drop it into the beer, than chug. Will get you going and just like Frank the Tank said, "Once it hits your lips its so good". By the Way, If you don't know who Frank the Tank is than I don't like you. Just Kidding.   #4 Jager Bomb 1 shot of Jagermeister 1/2 can of Red Bull Did you ever get sleepy or tired at a bar and wanted to go home and your realize that it's only 10 pm. Jager Bomb's will kick start your insides and keep you going through the whole night.   #5 Red Snapper (on the rocks) 1 part Crown 1 part Amaretto and cranbery juice (75% cranberry juice, 25% Amaretto) Usually done as a shot, but have you ever had it on the rocks as a drink. Unique looking drink can start conversations like no other. Well, those are my top five drinks but you really can't go wrong with anything containing alcohol.
